Karen's Info
Exercise and being active has been something I have always loved. My enthusiasm started at a very young age and as I grew up, I got involved in a number of different sports and activities and began to do competitive swimming and running. I was 18 when I set foot into a gym for the first time and from day one I was hooked, doing free-weights, classes, boot camps, aerial and I knew that I wanted to make a career out of my love for fitness.
I have a passion for exercise and I love how it makes you feel, so, In 2018 I gained my level 2 fitness instructor and my level 3 personal trainer qualifications and I followed these up in 2022 by completing my level 3 GP referral qualification.
I love every aspect of fitness and what it can do for people but if I had to give you my top 3 things that I enjoy and motivate me are…

-
Seeing people getting pleasure from exercise and feeling the benefits.
-
Watching the progression and change in people who have chosen to dedicate some time to investing in their health. It is awesome to see the self-belief and confidence growing when people start to feel better in themselves and begin to see the transformation and results of the hard work paying off.

Without doubt, the biggest buzz I get from being a personal trainer is when people tell me that their quality of life has improved, that in itself is a great motivator and driver for me and underlines why I love what I do!

When the opportunity arose in 2022 to take on the premises, I jumped at the chance as I knew the place well, having worked here in the past for a different business and I knew I could breathe life into the gym and bring a new energy by making personal training accessible for all.
